Gingerbread House in the Lobby

Holidays at Waldorf Astoria Park City

27 December

This December, Waldorf Astoria Park City celebrated the holidays by continuing old and new traditions. This year, our talented pastry chef created a Gingerbread lodge, gondola and villas that were all displayed in the lobby. We also had the opportunity to participate in the Christian Center of Park City’s Operation Hope. Donation boxes were left by the tree for team members, partners, spa members and guests to donate if they chose to do so. With the help of the Park City community, the Christian Center was able to help over 1,400 local children have a memorable Christmas. This year, we hosted our first ever Tree Lighting Ceremony. We made the choice to only light one of our trees in our courtyard, and the money saved from lighting only one tree went to the Christian Center to continue their excellent work in the community. Katie the Elf made an appearance this year with small books for the children. She read a story and helped the children with their Santa wish lists. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful holiday season!
