Meet the Chefs

Executive Chef, Ryker Brown
While his culinary career began in California, Brown spent most of his career working in mountain destinations. Most recently, he was the Corporate Executive Chef for Heirloom Restaurant Group where he oversaw operations for seven different concepts. At Powder, Brown will be introducing new items to the seasonal menus, drawing inspiration from the surrounding Wasatch Mountains by sourcing and foraging for local ingredients and serving dishes on natural stone and wood.

Executive Sous Chef, Ernesto Rocha
When Ernesto relocated here from Mexico City at nineteen, he got his start in the kitchen on Historic Main Street under famous chefs. There, he quickly began putting the “Ernesto” touch on classic American dishes, adding spices and colors unique to his background. Over time, his fusion evolved to be tailored to the taste of the Park City community.

Chef Ernesto and Executive Chef Ryker will be collaborating to continue to tailor to the Park City inspired ’ taste and focus on infusing local and organic ingredients in their cuisine.

Pocket Meals

Whether it’s a powder day or there is no time for breakfast, you don’t have to sacrifice quality for convenience with our new Pocket Meals program. Executive Chef Ryker Brown is unveiling two gourmet on-the-go options, the pocket quesadilla and the early morning burrito, both of which are hand-crafted in the Powder kitchen each morning.

Price: $14.50 per pocket meal (quesadilla or burrito)

Ideal for lounging poolside, Scoop Sweets & Grill offers ice cream, sorbet, gelato, BBQ items, and a full bar. SCOOP is situated at the Alpine pool and open during summer months. This dining option offers cuisine and drinks at Waldorf Astoria Park City’s pool, whirlpools, fire pits and VIP cabanas.
