Powder restaurant is excited to reopen with a fresh Winter menu featuring seasonal food and beverages. We will be offering breakfast in the restaurant as well as lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our bar and lounge will be open for casual bites highlighted by handcrafted winter-inspired cocktails and a curated wine list.

Closed for Cleaning: 11:00 am – 11:30 am

Lunch: 11:30 am – 4:40 pm

Closed for Cleaning: 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Dinner: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Enjoy a prix fixe menu . . . inspired by Romance, of course . . . Sunday, February 14th from 5pm-10pm. As a gift from Powder, we invite you to pose for a complimentary photo by professional photographer Todd Hicken, taken fireside in the romantic Grand Lobby of the hotel.

A traditional children’s menu will be available for those under 12 years of age.

Our regular dinner menu will be available in the bar and lounge.

If you prefer to order via In-Room Dining, we will be offering the same prix fixe menu beginning at 5pm, as well as our normal Powder menu.

If you prefer to order for takeout, please simply call the restaurant and schedule a time after 5pm to pick up your dinner. The restaurant will deliver curbside.

Reservations for Powder are highly encouraged as seating and availability will be limited. 

Meet the Chef

Waldorf Astoria Park City welcomes Executive Chef Hermann Schaefer to Powder. Chef Hermann was previously the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa before joining us in the mountains. Hailing from Austria, Chef grew up working and living on the site of his family’s restaurant and winery. The family operation has grown into the largest organic fruit juice company in Europe, still owned and operated by the Schaefer family.

Powder restaurant is a proud partner in Utah Green Business Association. Our variety of sustainability practices include:

  • 95% plastic free
    • Plastic straws have been replaced with recyclable paper straws
    • To-go containers are made of 100% recyclable materials
  • Meats, cheeses and vegetables are purchased through local farms
  • Two beehives are located on the hotel grounds to supply local honey
  • Work with local company, Wild Harvest Farms, to compost fruits, vegetables, eggshells, newspaper and more
